Yasmin Fahbod is a Scenic Researcher, Choreographer, Performer and Artivist based in Germany. She looks forward to opening up new gates between art and political structures in the new era of sociopolitical developments in today's world. She perceives art not as a separate phenomenon from politics but very much related. Her main concern during her years of professional and academic trajectory has been to observe, understand, and reflect the power structure in different contexts of society. Her research interest lies on the area of the audience and their position in the power dynamics of theatre houses. The core idea of the performance project for her master thesis at Ruhr University Bochum was based on the same matter. She is currently elaborating her research on "Rights of the Audience".
